Q. What qualifications are you looking for in your pool of applicants?
A. In general we are looking for individuals who are self-motivated with the desire to join one of the top leaders in the fast paced wireless industry. An interest in technology and enjoyment in interacting with customers are a must.
Q. How much does it cost?
A. The range of the initial investment will vary based on several factors, such as the area where your store is located, rental costs, travel costs to attend training, the medium for your advertising, the cost of procuring the necessary fixtures, furnishings, and office equipment, etc. A detailed list of start-up costs appears in our informational brochure which is available upon request. Minimum net worth and liquid capital requirements will be discussed in your first phone interview.
Q. How much is the fee for continuing support services?
A. We do not charge a fee for royalties or continuing support services.
Q. I have a specific area in mind. Is it ok to open there?
A. After our office has received your completed application, we will review your application, as well as your area of interest, to see if it is available. We will guide you in finding the right space in an approved geographical location. We expect all locations to open in commercial storefront space of approximately 1000 to 1200 square feet.
Q. Will I have an exclusive territory?
A. You can be assured that another WorldWide will not operate within a 4-mile radius of your location in a suburban area, and within a 2-mile radius in a city setting. We understand the importance of protecting your business interest.
Q. What about advertising?
A. The WorldWide Wireless name and reputation is an important part of your business. You will be expected to make Marketing Fund Contributions of 2% of your monthly gross commissions for advertising and business development.
Q. How much training is provided in the WorldWide Wireless system?
A. You will participate in an initial training course of 4 weeks. The initial program will focus on all aspects of the WorldWide Wireless system and is comprised of 2 weeks training at the corporate office in Schererville, Indiana, and 2 weeks training at your location.
Q. What form of business start-up assistance and ongoing support will I receive?
A. In addition to the 2-week onsite training, scheduled visits will be conducted as long as you own a WorldWide Wireless location. These visits are designed to provide operational assistance and guidance in various aspects of your WorldWide Wireless store. You will also receive the WorldWide Wireless confidential Operations Manual that contains specifications, standards, operating procedures and suggestions to aid you in the operation of your WorldWide Wireless store.
